Southwest Ohio Candidate and Activist SchoolDon't Miss This Event!

The Southwest Ohio Candidate and Activist School will feature hands on training from seasoned politicos and grassroots organizers for candidates, potential candidates, campaign volunteers, staff, and activists interested in grassroots issue advocacy. This is a one-day conference that will feature the following topics:

Issue Advocacy:
-Making a Difference
-Developing a Plan of Action
-Coalition Building 101
-Tools to Exert Grassroots Pressure
-Grassroots Lobbying 101

Campaign Training:
-Becoming a Candidate 101
-Campaign Finance 101
-Fundraising and Budgeting 101
-Field Operations 101
-Campaign 101

Trainers will include ODP Chair Chris Redfern, State Senator Eric Kearney, Cincinnati Vice Mayor Roxanne Qualls, State Rep. Connie Pillich, Organizing For America State Director Greg Schultz, as well as other highly seasoned politicos from throughout the region who will offer their expertise in effectively running a political campaign or issue advocacy campaign.

Cost: $15 Registration Fee in Advance; $25 at door. The Registration Fee will help us cover food and printing costs; coffee, pastries, lunch and snacks are included in the fee as well as take-home briefing packets.
