About Us
Formed in December 2008, Change Butler is a grassroots political action committee developed by neighborhood volunteers of the Obama/Biden campaign and sparked by President Obama's Organizing for America movement. Change Butler's mission is to promote the Obama Administration agenda locally as well as to more firmly establish a progressive presence in Butler County politics. Fueled by President Obama's example, Change Butler also is focused on service activities. To that end, Change Butler members participate in service events monthly that benefit local charities. Change Butler is completely volunteer driven, building from a grassroots network of volunteers who helped in the Obama campaign in the Liberty, Monroe, West Chester, Fairfield and Hamilton areas. Membership is open to all.
